The Finnish president believes that Putin is unlikely to agree with a meeting with Zelensky, as the American leader wants.
Finland President Alexander Stubb said his recent negotiations with President Donald Trump suggests: the patience of the American leader of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is almost tired of delaying peace in Ukraine. This was reported by the news agency BloombergStubb’s statement is referred to.
“In my last conversation with President Trump on Thursday night, there were some signs that his patience exploded,” the Finland leader assured.
However, Stubb considers that Putin is unlikely to attend a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky a week and a half, as planned. He also believes this will be a point.
“This is the patience (Trump – Ed.) Perhaps tired,” he believed and added that Trump was “the only person who could force Putin to go to the world.”
“He was the only one who listened to Putin, and, frankly, Putin’s only fear,” Stubb believed.
As you know, this week Trump met with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and European leaders. Among other things, Trump made a statement about guarantees for Ukraine.
