Russia carried out the largest cyber attack on Ukrainian state registries in recent times.
Enemy hackers temporarily suspended the work of the Unified and State Registers, which are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. Specialists are working intensively to gradually restore access to the registers. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishina.
Now, together with the team and specialists from other services, we are coordinating work to counter the cyber attack and restore systems.
According to Stefanishina, first of all, it is planned to renew the state register of acts of civil status of citizens, the unified state register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs and the state register of rights to real estate and their encumbrances. This may take up to two weeks.
Let us recall that in early December, hackers of the UAC-0185 group attempted to attack Ukrainian defense enterprises, as well as the Security and Defense Forces, by sending phishing emails.
