President Vladimir Zelensky signed a commandment in which the National Security and Defense Council’s decision to introduce new personal penalties imposed. The corresponding Decree No. 554/2025 of July 27 was published on the President’s office website.
The head of the state has implemented penalties by the National Security and Defense Council against more than 90 Russian companies that provide rare metallic metals to military-industrial complexity of the Russian Federation.
President of the Sanctions Policy President Vladislav Vlasuk in the suspended commentary said the penalties were introduced against companies and people involved in the acquisition and processing of rare metal metal for the manufacture of drones.
“We work to ensure that international partners have adopted similar penalties. The restriction of supplies in these sectors means a certain decrease in Russia’s capabilities on the battlefield,” he said.
The president also imposed sanctions that have been punished by the penalties of the European Union. So Ukraine imposed sanctions against companies from Russia, China, UAE, Iran and others.
“The structures associated with the shadow fleet, the supply of dual -use goods bypassing penalties, as well as the Russian military -industrial complex. About 40% of European penalties were previously included in the Ukraine penalty list, indicating effective coordination of strategies,” Vlasuk said.
Remember that EU countries have approved the 18th package of sanctions against Russia. The list includes 22 Russians and two Chinese banks, four companies related to the Russian Direct Investment Fund, 34 new topics associated with the military -industrial complex of Russia and Belarus.
