Auterion software will ensure “next evolution in military activities”, allowing autonomous drones to exchange data on their own.
The American-German Company Auterion will provide Ukraine thousands of its sets for shock drones with artificial intelligence function to help fight the massive attacks of Russia’s UAV. The Financial Times reported this on Sunday, July 27.
Auterion Director General Lorenz Mayer said the company will provide Ukraine with 33,000 such systems before the end of the year under a new contract with the US Department of Defense.
Company software is already used in Ukrainian drones that conduct battle against Russia, but the new contract, according to Mayer, has a “ten -m -large size.”
Last weeks, Russia has strictly activated the airstrikes: in each shelling, hundreds of shahed Iranian shape drone is used. Separate attacks now exceed the number of drones previously launched throughout the month.
Auterion sets are skynode miniature computers working on company software and have camera and radio communications. They become a drone with manu -control over “shock systems with artificial intelligence”, capable of monitoring a moving target from a distance of up to 1 km and non -defamation from the Russians, Mayer said.
A contract worth about $ 50 million is part of the US assistance safety program in Ukraine. However, he was not connected to the “mega-ghost” about drones, discussed recently by Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky president along with the leader of the United States Donald Trump.
“We’re not trying to compete with what’s in Ukraine. They have a good drone industry. We want to add what’s not there yet – that programmers oriented oriented strategies in the war,” Mayer said.
According to him, Auterion also expects new contracts to European countries. The company in particular has an office in Munich.
Germany, whom this person allows for unlimited financial defense borrowing, is the second largest supplier of military assistance in Ukraine after the United States.
Recently, the German Defense Minister Borin Pistorius said Berlin was funding the production of long drones in Ukraine to strengthen its defense capacity.
Since Russia’s entire -scale invasion of February 2022, Ukraine has become a test place for the latest military technologies. Many people call Kyiv “Drone Capital of the World” – a large network of suppliers of parts for UAVs has been formed here.
Mayer noted that Auterion software will ensure “next evolution in military activities”, allowing autonomous drones to exchange data themselves.
“What we suggest is a jump forward compared to what is now on the battlefield, especially the move to aiming and growing up based on artificial intelligence,” he added.
Earlier it was reported that Taiwan had completed a strategic cooperation with the American Auterion Company for the supply of software for drones tested on battle conditions in Ukraine.
