More than 11 thousand people stay in Pokrovsk

About 15,700 people remain in the Pokrovskaya community in the Donetsk region, including 78 children. In Pokrovsk – 11,300 the First Deputy Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Yuri Vinokurov announced this on Thursday, December 12, in a telethon.

He noticed that it became difficult to evacuate the people, because the enemy was approaching the city and fired on some parts of the road where the local residents were evacuated.

He also noted that those still staying in the city do not have access to heating.

“Gas supply has been stopped in the city of Pokrovsk. It is not possible to start heating at the current time of boiler houses at population support points in areas that cannot be destroyed are 15 thousand subscribers without gas supply, ” said Yuri Vinokurov. .

“202 residents of the region were evacuated during the day, 23 children were evacuated during the day with 316 thousand people in the region, of which 54,000 are in the combat zone,” the official added.

It was previously reported that the Donetsk OVA intends to complete the evacuation of 18 children from Pokrovsk by the end of the week.

We remind you that in the Donetsk region the zone where the forced evacuation of children operates has been expanded. Excludes 16 settlements in the Volnovakha region.
