“The actions of the aggressor against Ukrainian energy require a decisive response from the international community,” the minister emphasized.
The head of the Ministry of Energy noted that the IAEA has an independent approach to assessing the level of safety both at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant seized by Russian troops, and at other Ukrainian nuclear power plants and facilities critical to the operation of nuclear power plant. .
The official added that Kyiv is ready to continue the work of IAEA missions on Ukrainian facilities and “make maximum efforts for their safety with the broad participation of the international community and, in particular, the IAEA.”
It is known that on December 10, a Russian drone attacked an official IAEA vehicle on the road to the temporarily occupied Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
