The Ministry of Digital Transformation launched the uResidency service, which allows foreigners to register a business in 5 minutes and manage it without bureaucracy. The tax rate is only 5%, and all processes – from reporting to paying taxes – are automated. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov on Friday, September 27.
The uResidency program is available to citizens of India, Pakistan, Thailand and Slovenia.
“At the first stage, we plan to involve about 1,000 e-residents Then there will be more countries… The first e-residents have already opened bank accounts and are very satisfied with the result,” said Fedorov .
He also emphasized that currently the best conditions are created for Ukrainian businessmen in Ukraine.
“The registration of individual entrepreneurs is the fastest in the world, the payment of taxes in a few clicks, additional services for business are available online. Now we are ready to scale this experience to foreigners , because being an e-resident in Ukraine is easier and more profitable than opening a business anywhere in the world, the tax is only 5%,” added Fedorov.

“It will be checked quickly, and the resident will receive a CEP at the consulate, without visiting Ukraine Then he will open a private entrepreneur online – and all further interactions will take place automatically,” explained the minister.
To implement the project, reporting is fully automated.
According to him, the bank will independently calculate taxes, submit a declaration and take care of all bureaucratic red tape.
“There is no physical contact in institutions everything happens automatically, without human intervention .
We remind you that a new service has been launched on the Diya portal – now you can correct the data on the declared place of residence in the register in a few clicks.
