Donald Trump, former US President and Republican Party candidate in the current presidential election, accepted Vladimir Zelensky’s invitation to visit Ukraine.
He stated this today, September 27, after a meeting with Zelensky in New York, The Guardian reports.
“It’s a beautiful country, beautiful weather, everything is beautiful,” Trump added.
At the same time, he did not answer when exactly such a visit might take place. During his tenure as US President in 2017-2021, Trump never visited Ukraine.
Asked whether he would have another meeting with Zelensky, Trump said it “could very well happen.”
