Ukraine has launched a scholarship fund in the name of Evgenia, Yarina, Darya and Emilia Bazilevich, who were killed by Russia during the attack on Lviv on September 4.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU), where Daria Bazilevich was a student.
The goal is to raise $100,000 so that every year, thanks to these funds, UCU students who, due to difficult life circumstances, cannot pay for their education, can receive a scholarship.
This fund was opened jointly with Father Yaroslav Bazilevich and the Plast organization.
I was the richest, happiest husband and father: I had a treasure and always understood that this treasure is to have such a wife and such responsible, hard-working, beautiful, smart, proactive, patriotic children. I ask for everyone’s help in creating a sustainable scholarship fund named after Evgenia, Yarina, Daria and Emilia Bazilevich, so that the world remembers their names, the man urged.
A mother and her daughters were killed during a missile attack in Lviv on September 4, 2024. The daughters and their mother were killed while they were in the stairwell of their home, hiding during an air raid.
