The United States stopped the exchange of intelligence for Russian-Cukraine negotiations with the allies.
US National Intelligence Director Tulsey Gabbard issued an order that prohibits dividing intelligence in negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation with the countries of five eye alliances. This directive obliges American intelligence services to designate all negotiation materials such as NOFORN (prohibited for transferring to foreigners). This was reported by CBS News with reference to sources.
Nevertheless, this order allows you to transmit information that does not apply to Russian-Courane negotiations.
The Five Eye Intelligence Alliance was created after the Second World War. It includes the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
In general, the value of the partnership “five eyes” is that when making political decisions, we complement each other’s intellect and, therefore, understand the plans, intentions and capabilities of our opponents, explained the former CIA and the US Department of Security, Stephen Cache.
Recall that the guardian announced the day before that US President Donald Trump paused and was removed from the organization of the bilateral summit of Ukraine and Russia. The American does not want to personally influence the organization of the meeting of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and wants Kyiv and Moscow to independently organize this summit.
