During 2016 – 2019, the organizers of the criminal scheme developed a plan for the reorganization of the State Enterprise NKU, which was deliberately kept in a difficult financial situation, with the aim of seizing the business property at prices below market prices.
Poland extradited to Ukraine one of the suspects in the case of seizure of real estate (14 buildings) of the State Enterprise “National Cinema of Ukraine” worth about 42 million UAH, namely the former head of a company that illegally acquired real estate. This was reported by the SAPO press service on Wednesday, September 25.
As mentioned on September 24, the investigative judge of VAKS applied a preventive measure to the suspect in the form of detention with the alternative of posting bail in the amount of 10 million UAH.
During 2016 – 2019, the organizers of the criminal scheme developed a plan for the reorganization of the State Enterprise NKU, which was deliberately kept in a difficult financial situation, with the aim of seizing the business property at prices below market prices. To do this, they attracted officials from the Ministry of Culture and the State Enterprise of NKU, who agreed to an illegal reorganization plan, and ensured success in the auction for the sale of the property in a predetermined LLC, which also purchased the buildings at a reduced price.
In total, nine people were found suspect in the case, including the Deputy Minister of Culture (2014 – 2019); Head of the Department of the Ministry of Culture (2017 – 2020); First Deputy General Director of State Enterprise NKU (2016 – 2019); arbitration manager – manager of the reorganization of the state enterprise NKU (2019 – 2020) and others.
The actions of the participants in the crime are qualified under Part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code, taking into account the degree of complicity.
In relation to four participants in the crime, the court approved a plea agreement, according to which the convicts transferred 43.5 million UAH to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The message noted that thanks to SAP and NABU, the specified property was returned to the ownership of the state enterprise.
We remind you that the Anti-Corruption Bodies of Ukraine have exposed seven people, including former officials of the Ministry of Culture and the National Cinematheque, for attempting to seize the buildings of the state-owned enterprise National Cinematheque of Ukraine.
Earlier, the coordinator of the migration crisis on the border of the European Union and Belarus was expelled from Poland.
