A siren is heard in the city. Local authorities urge the population not to go ashore and not to stand near windows in houses on the first shore.
In the Russian city of Novorossiysk, on the Black Sea in the Krasnodar Territory, on the night of Thursday, September 5, an alarm was declared due to the threat of an attack by Ukrainian naval drones. This was said by the mayor of Novorossiysk Andrei Kravchenko.
He called on the residents of the city not to go ashore, not to stand at the windows of houses on the first shore, and not to film or post videos of the attack.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian military journalist Andrey Tsaplienko recalled that Russia moved part of the Black Sea Fleet to the port of Novorossiysk.
“But, most importantly, Novorossiysk is a major Russian port where petroleum products are delivered to other countries,” Tsaplienko said.
According to him, in Ukraine there are three types of unmanned boats, that is, sea drones that can reach Novorossiysk: Magura V5 GUR, as well as two SBU drones: Sea Baby and Kazak Mamay.
We remind you that in Novorossiysk, where after the flight from Crimea the naval base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet is located, they previously announced an attack by unmanned boats. Specifically, it was in early July.
And in May, aerial drones hit at least two oil depots and two terminals in Novorossiysk.
