In Kyiv, at the Universitet metro station, a man was trapped under the fourth train car. Rescuers used an entrenching tool to free him from under the car.

The victim, born in 2004, with a traumatic amputation of the right leg below the knee, was handed over to doctors for further hospitalization, the statement said.
Today, August 29, at 21:55, the KMV press service published a message on its Telegram channel that a passenger got on the tracks at the Universitet station. In connection with this, changes were made to the movement of trains on the red metro line, and the Teatralnaya and Universitet stations were temporarily closed to passengers.
At 22:16, KMV reported that train traffic on the “red” metro line had resumed as usual, and the passenger was alive. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
