The Cabinet of Ministers, during its meeting today, August 16, adopted a resolution “On the implementation of a pilot project for the automatic verification and checking of information about conscripts, military personnel and reservists.”
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
It is noted that the resolution provides for several important aspects:
- young men aged 17 to 25 must be registered for military service without undergoing a military medical commission (MMC). This applies to both those living in Ukraine and those who are abroad;
- verification of documents of men aged 18 to 60 who are abroad and apply for a Ukrainian or foreign passport. They will undergo verification of the validity of their military registration documents through the state electronic system “Trembita”;
- young people aged 16 to 25 years, residing in Ukraine and applying for a passport, will be entered into the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons Liable for Military Service and Reservists (USRPR) without undergoing the VLK. This also applies to those who are abroad and apply for or receive a passport at Ukrainian missions abroad.
A list of Ukrainian male citizens aged 16 to 60 years will be compiled, whose data must be entered into the Unified State Register of Personnel and Resources and subject to military registration.
Such innovations will help ensure the optimization and identification of information in the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons liable for Military Service, and Reservists, the department noted.
