The membership of the People Alexei Kuznetsov’s deputy in the faction of the people of the people will be suspended during the investigation. This was announced by the faction leader at Verkhovna Rada David Arahamia on Telegram on Saturday, August 2.
“At the time of the investigation, the membership of the Deputy of the People Alexei Kuznetsov was suspended in the faction. We expect a judicial consideration in this case in the corresponding terms. Those who have committed corruption crimes should suffer a fair penalty regardless of status and position,” he wrote.
According to him, the faction fully supports the effective action of NABU and CA for the fight against corruption.
“The Anti -Corruption Infrastructure works independently and recently adopted by Parliament, the President’s law provides all the necessary guarantees for it. The relationship of all to the state to overcome corruption is very important,” Arahamia added.
In this regard, the RBC-Ukraine reported that one of the defendants in the case was Sergey Gaidai, the former head of Lugansk Ova, and now the leader of the Mukachevsky District Military Administration.
Earlier on Saturday, President Vladimir Zelensky announced the disclosure of leading corruption. It has become known based on the results of his meeting with the director of Nabu Semyon Krivonos and head of SAP Alexander Klimnko.
