The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Martsinkiv, suggested that mobilization measures be strengthened in the region due to low indicators.
In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, mobilization measures will intensify in the coming weeks, as the region shows some of the worst indicators. The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Martsinkiv, said this in an interview with the Vezha channel.
“I think there will definitely be a few weeks (tightening of measures, – ed.), taking into account the indicators that exist today in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Something is needed,” he said.
At the same time, the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk said that the city had nothing to do with the mobilization.
“We don’t manage TCC, it’s not our structure,” he explained.
Local media are reporting increased checkpoints in Ivano-Frankivsk. Martsinkiv said the city does not specify where checkpoints can be set up. However, according to the law on local self-government, Ivano-Frankivsk helps with the necessary funds.
We remind you that in a meeting on August 16, the Cabinet of Ministers made changes to the rules for granting deferment from mobilization. It was decided to identify one of the categories that gives the right to a postponement
