The leader of the main director of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Kirill Budanov, survived at least 10 attempts at his life. He said about this in an interview with Natalia Moseichuk, published on Saturday, August 2.
He noted that he did not know the exact number of attempts at him.
“Honestly? I don’t know. Such a real answer. I don’t know for sure. More than ten sure. Obviously, I think about twenty,” the GUR chief.
Budanov added that such a life is his conscious choice.
“We are bringing death to our enemies and it is normal for me that they are trying to answer us both. I also do not judge them when it comes to me or officials engaged in these things,” the general said.
Earlier in the GUR it was reported that since 2014, Kirill Budanov has survived more than 10 attempts from the Russians since the beginning of an entire war. One of them was a missile blow to the GUR office.
