The court upheld the Justice Ministry’s claim to ban eight pro-Russian organizations coordinated by ex-citizen representative and traitor Viktor Medvedchuk.
In Ukraine, Medvedchuk’s network of so-called “public organizations”, which was preparing a coup in Kyiv in 2022, was liquidated. The SBU press service reported this on Friday, June 14.
The court reportedly granted the Justice Ministry’s claim to ban eight pro-Russian organizations, coordinated by former people’s representative and traitor Viktor Medvedchuk.
“Representatives of these “public organizations” are planning a coup in Ukraine, which they want to coincide with the start of a full-scale invasion in February 2022. So, they hope to help the aggressor capture Kyiv, and then the entire territory of Ukraine, as soon as possible,” the report said.
It was noted that for this, representatives of these organizations had to start holding a so-called “national meeting” in Kyiv.
During the “congress,” it was planned to announce an ultimatum to the highest military-political leadership of Ukraine to “remove themselves from power.” In case of refusal, the attackers intend to seize key government institutions in Kyiv and other regions of the state. For this purpose, they planned to form combat groups, which should include more than five thousand armed people, the report said.
The SBU recalled that in 2022, intelligence officers exposed evil plans and prevented their implementation. Then the three crime organizers were detained at the start of a full-scale Russian raid.
“In August 2023, the attackers received different prison terms. A Russian citizen who connected the subversive activities of Medvedchuk’s “public organizations” from Russia was also convicted without,” the commemoration of the Security Service.
Today, based on materials from the SBU, the court decided to ban and force the dissolution of the following organizations:
▪ International public organization We are the people of Ukraine;
▪ All-Ukrainian public organization All-Ukrainian Hetman Cossacks named after Ivan Bohun;
▪ Cathedral Cossacks;
▪ Cathedral Cossacks Kharkov district;
▪ Cathedral Cossacks Baryshevskaya village;
▪ Cathedral Cossacks Kyiv district;
▪ Cathedral Cossacks Lviv district;
▪ Cathedral Cossacks Sumy district.
It was previously reported that in April 2022, Medvedchuk was detained by law enforcement officials. In September of the same year, he was transferred to Russia as part of a large-scale prisoner exchange.
Let’s recall that in January 2023, President Vladimir Zelensky stripped Medvedchuk of citizenship.
