NASA has launched a new advanced composite solar panel system into space using the RocketLab Electron rocket. Science Alert reported this on Friday, April 26.

It is known that the deployment of 9-meter solar panels in low Earth orbit was carried out on Wednesday. The deployment of the 80 square meter panel took about 25 minutes.

It is also reported that under favorable weather conditions the panels can be seen from Earth, and their brightness is comparable to Sirius.

Solar panels supposedly use energy from the sun or starlight to help power space probes, and the charge from these panels is one of the most efficient ways to help power space ships.

NASA’s Advanced Composite Solar Panel System powers a CubeSat developed by NanoAvionics.

It was earlier reported that China launched the Shenzhou-18 manned spacecraft. The spacecraft was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China using the Changzheng-2F launch vehicle.
