We can confirm the fact of death,” Yusov told Public.
Earlier, part of the media reported, with reference to the Italian website IL-corrispondente, the murder of Kuzminov. The publication called Kuzminov a “traitor,” and other Russian state media referred to local Levante-EMV and Informacion.
The latter did not name the deceased, but they wrote that the killed Ukrainian was 33 years old. Kuzminov was 28 years old at the time of the helicopter hijacking operation. There have been news about the murder in the Spanish media since February 13th.
The Eureka News X project wrote that Kuzminov was the deceased, citing “unofficial information” from law enforcement officers. He also calls the pilot a traitor and spreads pro-Russian propaganda. The post about Kuzminov has already been deleted.
The media claimed that at least five ball holes were found on the body of the murdered man. In 2023, Kuzminov participated in a special operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region called “Tit” and delivered Mi-8 to Ukraine. He said that he turned to the special service of his own free will.
