Russian engineers are experimenting with installing anti-tank missile systems (ATGM) on a drone platform.

The video released shows the take-off and landing of a drone armed with the 9K111 Fagot anti-tank system, as well as a shot from it, Militarny writes.
In particular, two methods of firing are shown: shooting from the ground and while hovering in the air. The latter, judging by the footage, turned out to be ineffective due to the instability of the platform.
In the freeze frame you can see that the ATGM was equipped with additional equipment located at the control positions of the complex. This may indicate the implementation of remote control.
In the video, as Militarny notes, it was not possible to see new sighting devices, except for standard optical ones, designed for manual control by a person.
This is not the first time the Russians have experimented with outdated Soviet anti-tank systems. This phenomenon is widespread due to the lack of modern third-generation analogues in the Russian Army and the shortage of new Russian complexes.
One of the main disadvantages of old ATGMs remains the need for manual guidance of the missile throughout the entire flight, which is why the operator of the complex is constantly under threat at the line of fire. To solve this problem, Russians practice makeshift installation of remote control kits.
