The Royal Household Suppliers Association states that there are currently 128 suppliers to the royal family.

The Royal House of Sweden has removed chocolate maker Marabou from its list of suppliers. The reason for this is that its owner Mondelez has been blacklisted by the Ukrainian National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) due to the company’s activities in Russia. This was reported by the Swedish publication Aftonbladet.

The press service of the Swedish Royal Household confirmed to journalists that at the end of 2023 it was decided to terminate the order according to which Marabou products were given the title “supplier of the Royal Household of Sweden”.

Last year, some stores removed Marabou products from their shelves, and some organizations decided to boycott the company.

According to the Royal Household Suppliers Association, there are currently 128 suppliers to the royal family. However, this list still contains brands owned by companies that continue to operate in Russia to one degree or another.

The association cannot comment on this because the royal family decides who should be on the list.

In particular, among the brands associated with ongoing operations in Russia are the bread manufacturer Wasabröd, owned by the Italian Barilla, and the producers of Slotts and Winborgs sauces, owned by the British Unilever.

As we have already written, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption added the Danish company Rockwool to the list of international sponsors of the war.
