The organizer of the pseudo-referendum from the Starobelsky district of the Luhansk region, who came to Kyiv on social payments, received a prison sentence.

The press service of the Lugansk Public Educational Institution reported this today, January 10.
It is noted that the woman was detained by SBU officers in the spring of 2023 during her trip to Kyiv, where she tried to obtain social benefits for herself as an internally displaced person.
The attacker is a resident of Starobelsk, after the capture of the city by the Russians, she supported the invaders and cooperated with them. For this, she and her mother were appointed to the local occupation election commission.
There, she was part of the so-called “mobile groups” that compiled lists of potential “voters” and controlled their arrival at the “voting” to create the appearance of the electoral process, the report says. “She also falsified the results of the fake plebiscite and confirmed this with her signature in the “protocols” of the pseudo-referendum.
For such activities, the collaborator received monetary compensation in Russian rubles from the occupiers.
Based on the evidence collected, the court found her guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code:
- h. 2 tbsp. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
- Part 5 Art. 111-1 (collaboration activities).
Taking into account cooperation with the investigation, the court sentenced the woman to five and a half years in prison with confiscation of property, the OVA noted.
