The US will support its Ukrainian partners and will continue to provide Ukraine with weapons and defense equipment.
U.S. authorities intend to continue providing military assistance to Kyiv against the backdrop of Russia’s “minor successes”. This was announced on Monday, June 6, by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
He stressed that the White House will do everything to ensure that new weapons arrive in Ukraine as soon as possible.
At the same time, Jean-Pierre mentioned that the purpose of these deliveries was to protect Ukrainian territories from enemy invasions.
“Russia continues to make little progress and limited progress in some areas of Ukraine. So we continue to deliver weapons and equipment as soon as possible. Ukrainians are fighting for their democracy ,” he says.
The White House stressed that the United States “aims to do everything possible so that Ukrainians are strong and able to defend themselves.”
It was previously reported that a provocation was possible in Europe using weapons similar to those transferred to Ukraine.
Recall that the Ukrainian authorities sent an official request to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria with a request to provide weapons.
