A Russian UAV dropped a bullet on a car of a film crew from the Swedish TV channel TV4 in the Zaporozhye region. The journalists were not hurt because they were not in the car itself, but next to it. According to the website of the TV4 channel, on Tuesday afternoon in the Zaporozhye region, a Russian drone dropped a bullet on the car of Swedish reporters – Johann Fredrickson and Daniel Zdolsek.
“This time we were lucky. The Russian missile that we received from a drone hit the door of our car. Fortunately, there was no one in the car. It was all close to us. This is what Ukraine looks like now for to millions of people,” – said Fredrickson.
Before they arrived, the journalists got out of their car to start filming. A photo posted on the website shows their car destroyed, as well as television and photographic equipment.
Their local producer, a citizen of Ukraine, received minor injuries.
The Swedish media clarified that its employees were in the Zaporozhye region to cover the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian army.
The head of the Zaporozhye regional council, Elena Zhuk, called the event “a blatant attack on the press.”
The head of the Zaporozhye military administration, Yuriy Malashko, noted that as a result of a kamikaze drone strike in Zaporozhye Stepnogorsk, men aged 32 and 42 were injured.
