The exchange rate of the hryvnia strengthened slightly against the dollar and the euro at exchange offices. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Tuesday, September 20.
Today, the average dollar exchange rate fell by 10 kopecks – to 38.50 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate fell by 5 kopecks – to 41.40 Hryvnia.
In exchange offices they buy a dollar for an average of 38.00 UAH, a euro for 40.70 UAH.
The official fixed exchange rate of the NBU dollar since July 21 last year is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the euro today has slightly increased and is now 39.154 hryvnia per euro (+0.1609 hryvnia).
Let’s remember that a week ago the Ministry of Finance expressed concern about the strong Hryvnia. After that, its rate began to fall, and the National Bank was forced to sell the maximum amount of money in the interbank market.
