“On the right bank, no critical conditions were recorded in the settlements where the water is rising. In particular, the center of the region is not very affected, there is flooding in some microdistricts, residential sectors and streets. But, nevertheless, the evacuation is organized, because the water level continues to rise, and according to preliminary estimates by experts, the water will reach a critical level at about 13:00. The situation is monitored, all local services are working ,” he says.
According to Gumenyuk, on the left bank, the Russians “jammed” the connection so that people did not have the opportunity to receive competent advice and communicate with the territory controlled by Ukraine.
According to him, due to the increase in the water level, the risk of the mine in the water has increased.
“I don’t think that the invaders will calmly watch how the civilians will be evacuated from the left bank to the right, so I don’t advise you to venture there,” said Gumenyuk.
Recall that Russian troops blew up the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. From the potential areas of flooding, population evacuation began.
