The artist’s concert was supposed to be held on June 5, but the Russians prevented it. The musician planned to sing for fans at another location, but he was not allowed there either.
The concert of the Ukrainian musician Artem Pivovarov, which was supposed to take place in Zurich, was disrupted twice by the Russians. They spread false information that he was a follower of ultra-right ideology.
So, the artist had to postpone the performance until the fall, but for now, together with the team, he is doing everything to ensure that the planned concert will still take place. They asked the embassy, lawyers and the local press for help.
“We did everything possible to ensure that the concert still took place in Zurich. However, the local authorities and the police banned the concert at the new location. We are not canceling the concert, but rescheduling it. We are connecting everyone of resources, the embassy, the press, lawyers, we will get all the necessary documents to make the concert happen, but later, on the autumn tour. We will continue to fight for the truth!” – said the musician on Instagram.
However, Artem Pivovarov decided not to leave Switzerland without pleasing his fans. Against the ban of the city authorities and police, the performer held an impromptu concert by the lake at the Bürkliplatz ship pier. There he sang acoustic versions of songs with guitar.
“Thank you for coming! We are musicians from Ukraine! We are here because our concert today was canceled by the local authorities and the police. They called me a Nazi! I hope you understand the situation in our country! We have a mission of charity in the name of Ukraine! There is a difference between Ukrainian fighters and Nazis! They defend our country! And do not take other people’s property! But we continue to fight for our freedom in every possible way, “stressed the artist.
