In Ukraine, electricity consumption demonstrates growth trend.
In addition, bad weather turned off 111 settlements in seven regions. The UKrenergo press service announced this today, August 11.
It is noted that the level of consumption as of 9:30 pm was 6.8% higher today than at the same time of the previous working day – on Friday, August 8.
The reason for such changes is cloudy weather and rain in the large territory of Ukraine. This causes low efficiency of home solar power plants and an appropriate increase in energy consumption from the common network, the company said.
Yesterday, Sunday, August 10, daily maximum consumption was registered in the evening – it was 1.6% higher than the maximum of the previous Sunday, August 3.
Ukrenergo emphasizes that the Ukrainian energy system continues to recover after Russian attacks:
Today there is a need for economic consumption of electricity in the evening. Please do not turn on several powerful devices simultaneously from 17.00 to 22.00.
