The National Electoral Jury (JNE) has announced that once all observed acts relating to the province of Lima have been resolved and said statements have gained firmness, Special Electoral Jury of Central Lima will be able to proceed to proclaim the results of the elected authorities Metropolitan of Lima for the period 2023-2026.

Delivery of credentials
After familiarization with the specified act of promulgation, it can be challenged within three working days only on numerical grounds. In this case, the JNE plenary meeting must make a final decision on this matter.
If there has been no appeal or following the decision of the JNE, the JEE-LC shall transfer authority to the elected authorities of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima in Regional and municipal elections – 2022.
