Zelensky emphasized that “in many respects of relations with America” depends on the long -term guarantee of the security of Ukraine.

In addition, the head of state thanked the former ambassador of Ukraine in the United States of Oksana Markarov and emphasized that he had already suggested that she continue to work in his team.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the bill on the exchange of data on income from digital platforms.

The draft law was drawn up to fulfill international obligations to the IMF and the implementation of the EU directives and the rules of the OECD model for the reporting of the digital platform operators. This will allow Ukraine to join the global data exchange system obtained through digital platforms, such as Bolt, Airbnb, booking, Uber, Glovo and much more. On August 27, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reported.

The new rules provide that the income of users of Ukrainian residents will come to the tax service from both the platform operators and from foreign tax authorities.

In addition, a preferential bet of Pete is introduced for accountable sellers if:

• A separate bank account was opened, and the settlements were made through the platforms;
• Such people are not independent, do not hire workers;
• Annual income does not exceed 834 minimum wages (approximately 6.7 million as of January 1, 2025);
• There is no trade in excise taxes.

In other cases, a standard rate of 18%will work.

The new law also provides for a simplification for small sellers who produce no more than three sales per year up to 2 thousand euros.

Revenues from the sale of goods up to 36 thousand 336 UAH will not be taxed.

Officials emphasize that the new rules are aimed at developing a digital economy, increasing tax culture and ensuring international transparency in accordance with the EU and OECD standards.

The bill approved by the Government should be considered by the supreminated Rada.

We will recall that in March, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law on increasing excise taxes on tobacco products, which was approved by Verkhovna Rada in early December 2024. Experts said that during this time the budget did not receive about 2 billion UAH.
