The musicians released the track Gasoline, the video of which shows footage of the aftermath of the war in Ukraine.
Ukrainian fans of the Italian band Maneskin recorded a video message in which they thanked the musicians for their support, bringing the soloist Damiano David to tears. The video was posted on Instagram.
In particular, in the video, the residents of Ukraine said that after February 24, everyone’s life changed a lot, but the support and music of the Maneskin group helps them stay.
“Even if we say millions of words of gratitude, we cannot convey all our gratitude for every Ukrainian flag you raise, for every word spoken in support of Ukraine, for every word in your Gasoline song . But for now, this is all we can do for you. All from a sincere heart, from a big soul. The time will come, and thousands of people at your concert in Kyiv will shout “Dyakuya” with tears in their eyes. Days, months, years will pass, but we will always remember and thank you for your support. This video is our gesture of gratitude,” said the caption under the video.
In this regard, the leader of the Italian group that won Eurovision 2021 thanked the fans for their kind words and did not hold back tears.
“Guys, I don’t know what to say, you made me cry, like a child. I will raise your flag until my hands fall off,” wrote Damiano.
