Ukraine, Romania and Moldova have chosen the official name for the format of their joint work. He was called an Odessa triangle. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrei Samiba on Telegram on Friday, July 8.
Between Ukraine, Romania and Moldova, many meetings took place at the level of foreign leaders and ministers. On August 8, Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Poland and Lithuania also joined Chernivtsi in Chernivtsi.
“Supporting Ukraine is in the national interests of Moldova and Romania. It’s an investment in their safety and well -being. Now Ukraine is the major security converter in Europe,” Samiba said.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the increase in institutionalization of Ukraine – Moldova – Romania format. The format was called Odessa Triangle – in honor of the city where it was created in 2022.
“In particular, they have come to appoint regional coordinators to determine the regularity of the meetings, develop their agenda and clear joint activities and projects,” said the foreign ministry.
Earlier it was reported that the Romania Ministry of Defense was preparing for negotiations with Kiev about the joint production of Ukrainian drones in its territory.
