Spain will provide strong military support to Ukraine.

With reference to the Spanish Ministry of Defense, journalists report on preparations for the transfer to our state:
- over 1 thousand artillery ammunition;
- approximately 20 M113 armored vehicles;
- air defense batteries;
- 1 thousand tons of diesel.
In addition, Spain expressed its readiness to conduct exercises for the Ukrainian military.
Ukraine received an entire air defense battery from Spain, El Pais reports, citing the country’s Ministry of Defense.
In June, the Shorad Aspide air defense system was announced. Spain also offered to train the Ukrainian military on the operation and maintenance of these weapons. At present, the timing of the delivery of these weapons has not been reported.
This training will be included in a possible upcoming European Union military training mission, if approved.
Recall that in early August, the Spanish government decided not to transfer Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, since they are in the wrong state.
