The qualification, made official last Friday, will guarantee the hospital an annual transfer of R$435,540.48. This financing came into force immediately after the signing of the ordinance and includes retroactive payments from April 2024. The resources will be made available by the FAEC (Strategic Actions and Compensation Fund) and transferred to the Campo Grande Municipal Health Fund.
These resources will be intended to cover medium and high complexity treatments aimed at the health of the transsexual population.
The ordinance was signed by the Minister of Health, Nísia Trindade Lima, in accordance with the regulations of SAS/MS Ordinance nº 457, of 2008, and GM/MS Consolidation Ordinances nº 2 and 6, of 2017, which establish guidelines for the comprehensive health care for lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transvestites and transsexuals.
