The American actor is a co-founder of the charity organization “CORE Response”, which provides assistance to Ukrainian refugees and displaced persons.

The famous American actor and film director Sean Penn said that his visits to Ukraine during the mass war helped him learn to accept Americans with different political views. He said this on Sunday June 23 in an interview with The Irish Times.

The actor, who actively supports Ukrainians in this war, said that the people of Ukraine also have political differences, but can find common ground if necessary.

“I was amazed at the unbreakable unity of people in the face of tragedy,” the actor said.

He added that Ukrainians are free people who can freely express their thoughts.

“It was like breathing different air. I really felt like I was missing out here in the United States of America,” Penn added.

American actor Sean Penn said how he would deal with Putin in a personal meeting.
