A song about inequality has trended on TikTok

The composition is dedicated to women “who do all the housework and deserve more”.

British singer Paris Paloma has posted a teaser on TikTok for her upcoming video for the song Labor about inequality. The video was made public on March 12, but so far, it has been viewed by 2.1 million users.

“All day, every day you make me do too much. Therapist, mother, maid, nymph, virgin, nurse, then maid, a life just attached to serve him, so he won’t lift a finger,” said of the song.

According to the Independent, in Paloma’s new song, the women share their experiences of misogyny as they play a clip with visual lyrics to their stories of sexism and prejudice.
