Colin Farrell reveals episode count for new Penguin series

The new series ‘The Penguin’, which is a spin-off of the production ‘Batman’, had the number of episodes revealed by Colin Farrell during Variety’s Award Circuit podcast (via Collider and Omelette).

In addition to the number of announcing that the production will have eight episodes, the star also gave details about the series. At the time, he said: “It will be an eight-part thing around Oz’s rise to power, filling the power vacuum created when [Carmine] Falcone was killed”.

Colin still spoke where the chronology created by Matt Reevesdirector of ‘Batman’, will fit into the series:

“Matt’s idea was that the Penguin series would start about a week after the end of the Batman movie. And if it works, if the trajectory is interesting, the public buys into it and we do our job right, the second movie will continue where the HBO show will end.”

Not long ago, the screenwriter James Gunn denied rumors that circulated on the internet, where they said that he would be studying the hypothesis of including the production ‘Batman’ in which Robert Pattinson participates within the DCU. From this it may mean that what Matt Reeves idealized, must be maintained, encompassing the productions ‘Batman 2’, ‘Penguin’ and ‘Arkham’.

In the cast of ‘Batman’, the names of Robert Pattinson, Andy Serkis, Paul Dano, Zoë Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright It is Colin Farrel. Still, you can find the production available on HBO Max and other platforms.
