Electronic invoicing has revolutionized business payment methodHowever, there are still many doubts about this. One of the main questions people ask is to find out if a voucher has been received.
According to Kenneth Bengtsson, CEO of Efact, lCompanies often wonder how to make sure receipts have been verified and delivered to customers correctly.
In this regard, he recalled that electronic billing system it is comprehensive and has been designed for both sending and receiving digital documents. In addition, it provides special tools to warn about possible failures in checks or reduce errors in the process.
“Although many companies, even large ones, use the SUNAT portal for invoicing, it is important that they discover the opportunities offered by Electronic Service Providers (PSEs) such as Efact, which they have specialized platforms and which allow, for example, to receive notifications when customers read received receipts, or warnings in case there is a remark in any document,” Bengtsson explained.
Sending receipts by email
He warned that many companies continue to send and receive receipts from their customers or suppliers by mail instead of using an electronic invoicing system. This practice opens up more opportunities for making mistakes that result in higher costs.
This is an important detail, since, according to a UN study, between 8% and 10% of physical invoices issued in the world contain errors.
“Sending a receipt by mail is almost the same as sending a physical receipt. The advantage of electronic invoicing is that it reduces human error. But when receiving this type of receipt, someone will have to manually enter all the data into the accounting system. , with all the associated risks and costs,” explains the chief executive of Efact.
PSE platforms also offer other tools to identify, for example, some error in invoices preventing verification. “In the case of Efact, we not only send receipt status alerts, but we also have a support team that helps our customers fix issues,” Bengtsson concluded.
