The UN will provide Ukraine citizens from weak categories of additional payments before the end of May.
Ukrainians from weak categories will continue to receive additional payments from the UN World Food Program (UN VPP) to the end of May. This was announced by Ukraine’s Ministry of Social Policy Press School on Friday, April 25th.
The department recalled that the project was launched in August 2023 with the pension fund and the UN Pension Fund and the UN RFP. Thanks to him, the Ukrainians from the most vulnerable categories (pensioners, people with disabilities) living in active or possible raging territories and not receiving other financial aids from international organizations, and receive additional financial support each month.
Its size is the difference between pension (or social payment) that a person already has, and 3250 hryvnias. That is, if social payment is, for example, 2700 hryvnias, one person receives another 550 hryvnias of additional help from UNP.
In general, we are talking about 507 thousand Ukrainians who have been assisted in 272 million hryvnias.
“The UN world food program has expanded the payment of assistance until the end of May along. Recipients of help should not be taken anywhere. It will be paid in the same way that a person has already received a pension or social payment (for a bank card or by UKRPOSHTA),” emphasized by the Ministry of Social Policy.
