The banking system, foreign exchange market, and depository of the National Bank will function as usual.
The National Bank of Ukraine approved the regulations for the operation of the electronic payment system (EPS) and the operating procedure of the banking system during the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. The press service of the NBU reported this on Friday, December 20.
It is noted that during this period, as well as throughout 2024, the SEP will work around the clock 24/7 with the date of the current calendar day in accordance with the technological regulations of the system.
At the same time, the NBU considered the appeal of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine to establish work restrictions on the SEP for this institution related to the end of the reporting year.

Payments in foreign currency from the State Treasury Service of Ukraine through the NBU and Ukreximbank are made until 13:00.
Arrangements for payments for repayment and servicing of public debt between the State Treasury Service of Ukraine and the National Bank in national currency are carried out until 16:00.
Ukraine’s banking system is operating as usual. The foreign exchange market of Ukraine, the depository of the NBU, as well as other systems of the National Bank are operating as usual.
Let us remind you that earlier the National Bank of Ukraine softened a number of monetary restrictions.
