The head of the Verkhovna Rada Tax Committee, Daniil Getmantsev, said that the resource law will take effect on December 1.
The tax increase law will come into effect on December 1, 2024. This was stated by the head of the tax committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Daniil Getmantsev, on his Telegram channel.
“A sleepless night is the result – the resource law will enter into force on December 1, 2024. It will be published on November 30, respectively, Common sense won,” the official wrote.
“We will consider it a printer’s error,” he added.
The law on the historic tax increase was published in the newspaper Golos Ukrainy on November 28, and should therefore take effect on November 29.
Prime Minister Denis Shmygal announced that the law will take effect on December 1.
