More than 4 thousand companies were founded by 14 Ukrainians in the last four years

Fourteen mass founders have created 4,003 companies in Ukraine over the past four years. This data was provided on Wednesday, May 22, by the open data platform OpenDatabot.

A record number of companies was created by Vitaly Pavlovich Ilnitsky – 1399 businesses since the beginning of 2020. It is noteworthy that the businessman confidently maintained his leadership this year. Since the beginning of the year, he has opened about 3-4 companies per day: 507 companies in five months.

In second place is Sergei Aleksandrovich Seko – according to the Unified State Register, he founded 810 companies. Vitaly Valentinovich Tretyak closed the top three serial entrepreneurs: 436 companies in the last 4 years.

According to Opendatabot, almost half of mass founders register companies in Kyiv – 1,766 enterprises or 44.1% of the total. Lviv region (8.4%), Kiev region (7.6%), Odessa region (5.8%) and Dnepropetrovsk region (4.3%) are also popular among serial entrepreneurs.

Almost one-third of grassroots companies start in the wholesale trade industry. Another 6% – in the field of land and pipeline transportation and 5.5% in the field of security services.

Ukraine has fully complied with all structural beacons and other obligations under the EFF extended financing program at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The mission for the fourth screening program is expected to start working at the end of May in Warsaw.
