The income of solvent banks of Ukraine in January-April increased by 17.3% – to 159.999 billion Hryvnia.
Net profit after tax of solvent banks of Ukraine for January-April reached 52.067 billion Hryvnia, which is 18.3% more than the same period last year. This is confirmed by data from the National Bank.
According to the NBU, the bank’s income in January-April increased by 17.3% – to 159.999 billion Hryvnia, while interest income increased by 25% – to 84.944 billion Hryvnia.
Bank expenses increased by 16.8% – to 107.933 billion hryvnia. At the same time, banks reduced contributions to reserves for future losses by UAH 1.972 billion.
Let’s recall that by the end of 2023, solvent banks of Ukraine received 86.5 billion hryvnias in net income. This is almost four times higher than the figure for 2022 and 12% more than the results of 2021.
