Powerful explosions on Friday, August 22, took place at Smitty’s Supply Oil Refinery in Rowuzland, the American State of Louisiana. Law enforcement officials have evacuated people throughout the city, WBRZ reports.
According to local authorities, no one was injured. However, the cause of the explosion and fire is unknown.
It was noted that the explosions continued during the day, the fire occupied by twelve -two storage tanks in the area near the US51 and LA10 highway intersection.
Residents of the surrounding area reported loss of oil and soot along with rain in the area.
