“DTEK’s oil and gas business continues to invest in the most modern technologies for the development of the industry. The Stryde system will allow us to analyze the subsoil more precisely to support and develop oil production and Ukrainian gas,” the statement said.
The Stryde system is said to be the smallest nodal cableless seismic acquisition system. This allows you to significantly reduce deployment time and eliminate a large amount of heavy equipment.
The company noted that the system allows increasing the depth of study of research areas, increasing the accuracy of predicting the geological and geophysical properties of rocks and the reliability of the results of geological exploration work all in all.
In addition, Stryde has 30 thousand sensors and allows for research on the water environment. This is the only system in Ukraine with similar characteristics.
After further training in Norway, DTEK Naftogaz specialists have already started using the system in one of the fields in the Poltava region.
It was previously known that in 2023, DTEK energy holding will start drilling new wells in gas fields. The company plans to invest $120-130 million in gas production.
