Starting this week, the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) has started paying out the Drought Bonus, also called the Recovery Now, to support farmers affected by the lack of rain.
This economic support will be provided to 224,000 farmers and ranchers through the Banco de la Nación agencies in the cities where the victims are registered.
To receive the bonus, you must be registered with the Padrón de Productores Agrarios (PPA), manage farmland up to four hectares, and run a livestock business with a maximum of twelve heads of alpaca.

A total of 408 districts were considered for the drought impact bonus at the national level, and 224,300 farmers and ranchers will be the beneficiaries.
Paredes pointed out that beneficiaries to know that the premium corresponds to them, the lists are published in agricultural offices.
“There is a list that is published at the level of all our agricultural departments, through regional agricultural departments. It is also coordinated with the regional governments, and lists are also posted so that farmers can see if they are beneficiaries of this Bonus,” he said.

The Minister noted that in the case of the city of Lima, only one area was affected by droughtaccording to information from Senamha: Santa Leonor district in the province of Huaura.
The regions currently receiving the bonus are Huara, Huanuco, Cusco, Junin and La Libertad.
Schedule
The payment schedule is drawn up according to the last digit of the national identity document (DNI) of each beneficiary, and starts from zero to the number 9, for which dates are set for each digit in ascending order. It started on January 30th and will end on March 10th.
Until today, February 1st, the bonus will be paid to those beneficiarys, whose ID ends with the number 0. Below is the entire schedule:
