The leadership of the Migration Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine covered up an organized criminal group.
High-ranking officials have set up large-scale schemes to protect prostitution in Kyiv and other regions of the country. Organizers of illegal business received monthly income of more than UAH 50 million. The attackers were exposed by the Security Service of Ukraine with the assistance of Acting Interior Minister Igor Klymenko. This was reported on February 1 by the press center of the SBU.
The deputy head of the department, the head of the department of the relevant subdivision of the metropolitan police and 12 other members of the group have already been detained. It turned out that law enforcement officers covered up the illegal activities of an extensive network of places of debauchery in the capital.
These institutions recruited girls from 18 to 30 years old with a vulnerable psycho-emotional state.
In addition, a network of specialized groups was created in messengers, where pimps were looking for female citizens to provide intimate services for money, including the so-called escort. Prostitutes went to clients not only in the regions of Ukraine, but also abroad. The cost of such services ranged from 500 to 10 thousand dollars. per night.
The SBU conducted more than 30 searches at the addresses of the defendants, including in the administrative buildings of the National Police.
Investigators informed more than 20 defendants about the suspicion of art. 255 (creation, management of a criminal community or criminal organization), art. 302 (creation or maintenance of places of debauchery) and Art. 303 (pimping or engaging a person in prostitution) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Now the issue of choosing a measure of restraint for the attackers is being decided.
Recall that during the new searches of the President of Motor Sich JSC Vyacheslav Boguslayev, law enforcement officers found more than two dozen medals, certificates and honorary awards from representatives of the military-political leadership of Russia.
