5 Forgotten Disney Villains

In addition to its princesses, Disney has some villains that have been forgotten by the public.

With its high popularity among children and the public that loves the animations produced by Disney, in addition to the princesses, many other characters have marked the lives and memories of viewers.

Among these outstanding names, the production company’s villains also have their reserved space. However, many of them, which stood out around the 1960s, ended up falling into public oblivion after a period.

Based on that, RECREIO went after five Disney villains that were forgotten by the public. Check the list below:

1. Madame Min, from ‘The Sword Was the Law’ (1963)

From the animation ‘The sword was the law’, from 1963, the character Madame Min is an old witch from the woods. However, the villain, who has her first appearance in the aforementioned animation, sometimes manages to be nice.

In the drawing, she appears when she begins to face, in a duel, the Wizard Merlin, master of the young King Arthur. In the comics, the villain faces Professor Sparrow in another fight. In addition, the witch is often deceived by other villains, in this case, the brothers Metralha and Black Spot, who are always wanting to take advantage of the witch’s magical powers.

On another occasion, Madame appears in pairs along with Maga Patalógica, the sorceress of Carl Barks. The two then became friends and, together, live in an old medieval castle, with a dragon trapped in the dungeon, in addition to having two crows, Perácio and Apolônio, and a cat as pets.

2. Shere Khan, from ‘The Wolf Boy’ (1967)

the movie of disney from 1967, ‘Mowgli – The Wolf Boy’, has Shere Khan as the most relevant villain of the plot.

Shere is a powerful Bengal tiger, who acts evil and sneaky. In addition, the character of ‘Mowgli’ has a bad reputation among the other inhabitants of the forest that he usually is, and his presence alone is enough to frighten and intimidate the animals that live in the region.

3. Ragatão, from ‘The adventures of the detective mouse’ (1986)

Ragathan, in addition to being a potential enemy of the detective mouse Basil, the 1980s villain still has a considerably evil plan to kidnap the Queen of England, so that Ragathan can appoint himself king.

But before putting into practice the plan to kidnap the monarch, he decides to kidnap Flaversham, known in London for making toys.

4. The magician Merlock, from ‘DuckTales: Treasure of the Lost Lamp’ (1990)

Bearer of a green magic talisman, Merlock’s character becomes capable of transforming himself into animals such as vulture, mouse, beetle, falcon, bear, puma, among others. But when placed inside the Genie’s magic lamp, the talisman Merlock carries has the power to grant the villain an unlimited number of wishes.

Still, in the animation, Merlock is in search of his magic lamp that he lost to Collie Baba, a thief, several millennia before, and for that, he is willing to do anything.

5. Madame Medusa, from ‘Bernardo and Bianca’ (1977)

The character of ‘Bernardo and Bianca’ owns a pawnshop in New York, where, in the middle of her things, a diamond called “the devil’s eye” catches her attention.

On the mission to find the stone again, Madame arrives and kidnaps a girl named Penny, to go after the gem. Beside her, her main partners are Asdrubol, Nero and Brutos, her pet crocodiles.
