US Congress cancels mandatory COVID-19 vaccination for military

After the final vote of the Senate Congress The United States approved a defense budget this Thursday, which vaccination mandatory against COVID-19 for military.

This provision was added against the Democratic President’s position. Joe Bidenwhich made it a victory for the Republicans, who threatened not to vote on the bill unless they dropped the demand.

Mandatory vaccination of military personnel led to the exclusion of 8,000 of them, according to Pentagon.

Flexible Measures

This sanitary restriction, one of the last important ones, was still in effect in USAintended to protect the health of American soldiers.

The text, which finances defense for fiscal year 2023, has already been approved by the House of Representatives and now only needs the president’s signature.

Its total is astronomical, about $858 billion. About $10 billion has been allocated for military aid to Taiwan. (AFP)
